Awards & Recognitions

acknowledgement

To those who have encouraged me, challenged me, prayed for me, purchased my work, shared my name, and believed in my vision — thank you. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the kind and generous support that I have received. It is that amazing support that has encouraged me to forge ahead with my art journey.

Art can be a solitary journey, but I have never truly walked it alone. Your quiet words, thoughtful critiques, and steady support have given me courage to keep creating. I feel blessed and am deeply grateful.

2026: Artavita international online art contest

In May of 2026, I submitted four paintings in the “79th International Artavita Online Art Contest”. To my delight, I have been recognized as a “Runner Up” in this contest, which is  a significant distinction.

The Runner Up category includes artists whose work stood out strongly during the jury process and was considered to be of exceptional quality and interest. In contests with many submissions, being chosen as a Runner Up means the art work made a strong impression and rose well above the majority of entries.

Artavita, located in Santa Barbara, CA, USA, was created by a team of international gallery owners and artists who wanted to design a space where artists could come together and display their work in the way it was meant to be seen on screen.

Artavita is an online forum where artists can see and be seen, while staying current on upcoming events, exhibitions and opportunities to share their work.

My art can be viewed on the Artavita website.

2026: The Circle Foundation for the Arts "Art Star Award"

In January of 2026, I entered an international competition, “2026 CFA Artist of the Year”, held by the Circle Foundation for the Arts based in Lyon, France. I am excited to have been awarded an Art Star Award for my submitted art, “Rainbow Rhapsody”. “Rainbow Rhapsody” and three other paintings of mine are featured in their ArtStar Magazine, a new and dedicated digital magazine published in March 2026. This magazine was published in collaboration with World Wide Art and is posted on their website.

Rainbow Rhapsody

"ArtStar" magazine

The ArtStar Magazine “presents an international collection of contemporary artworks that span a wide range of styles, media, and aesthetic approaches, united by a shared standard of remarkable creativity and artistic integrity. Bringing together artists from over 25 countries, this volume reflects a rich convergence of cultures, perspectives, and ways of seeing, offering a compelling and diverse selection of works worth collecting. More than a presentation of individual practices, Art Star functions as a meeting point where differences are not only acknowledged but valued. Through painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, the publication reveals how varied artistic languages can coexist within a single, cohesive vision. Each work contributes to a broader dialogue, demonstrating that while forms and influences may differ, the pursuit of expression, meaning, and beauty remains universal.” (press release statement)

My four paintings appear on pages 82-85.
